We’re Way Past Farce, US Considers Extending Laptop Ban to European Flights – If this actually happens that will be just awful. This ban is the dumbest thing ever and it doesn’t make flying any safer.

I’m floating back into cruising & reaching NCL Platinum status ASAP. Here are my H2O plans! – I enjoy going on NCL cruises. They have good promotions including free drink packages.

Grand Hyatt Baha Mar Available on Hyatt Points! – There has been a lot of buzz about this Hyatt property. The opening has been delayed and delayed. It is nice to see it is available now and that the points may be only 15k a night, but hurry that won’t last.

Great Deal! Buy IHG Points for 1/2 Cent Each with this IHG 20% Discount Points & Cash! – You may be able to benefit from this. Especially if you can stay at the point breaks properties. Do you like IHG?

Review: Singapore Airlines Premium Economy, Tokyo to Los Angeles – I haven’t tried out a Premium Economy cabin yet. It looks like James had a good experience on Singapore Airlines.

NEVER TRUST THE CONCIERGE – I’ve received some pretty bad recommendations from hotel staff. Most of the time it is to a restaurant that they receive a kick back or some incentive to drive traffic to. The best bet is to ask a housekeeping staff or someone who doesn’t usually talk with guests. You will likely get a much better recommendation and somewhere where locals would go.

I’m an avid cruiser and have been on NCL once, to Bermuda. They’re good, though I’m not particularly a fan of the “Freestyle” concept. I’m one of those old fogeys that prefers traditional, fixed dining times when I’m at sea.
