Galveston
Princess Cruises began sailing from Galveston, Texas 20 years ago. In celebration of the 20 year anniversary, Princess is having her largest ship, Regal Princess making Western Caribbean sailings in 2023/2024 winter season from this homeport.
The port of Galveston is seeing a lot of activity with recent renovations of the cruise port to accommodate modern cruise ships as well as to provide good guest experiences in the terminal buildings.
Many of the cruise lines are going big for Texas this year.
Carnival is featuring the newest ship, Carnival Jubilee as homeported from Texas. Carnival even has a feature at the front of the ship to honor the Texas homeport.
Royal Caribbean is offering Harmony of the Seas as well as several other ships. Harmony is an Oasis Class ship.
Everyone is going big on Galveston!
I sailed from Galveston many years ago and had a great memory of watching dolphins swim alongside the ship as it was leaving from the port.
Princess in Texas
The Regal Princess offers Love Boat sailings from the Texas Port to Western Caribbean through March 24. There are options from seven to 12-days over 21 sailings.
The cruise line estimates that 75,000 guests will enjoy the Regal Princess on her 2023/2024 Western Caribbean sailings.

On Princess Plus you can get two visits to the famous pizza and other casual specialty places. On Princess Premier you get access to unlimited famous pizza and other casual specialty places. In addition, Princess Premier gives you two specialty dinners such as the French Restaurants, Steakhouses or Seafood spots.
Texas Love
With the addition of Regal Princess in Texas as well as the other new ships making Galveston their home port it will be an excellent Caribbean season.
