Harmony of the Seas
Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas is an Oasis Class ship currently offering sailings from Texas to Mexico and the Caribbean.
The ship launched in 2015.
The ship holds over 5,000 guests in 2,747 rooms.
Harmony features Central Park and other neighborhoods as well as the iconic water theater in the back.
On January 16, 2024, Harmony of the Seas performed a rescue operation to save six fisherman and a dog who were stranded at sea near Mexico.
Aris was the boat that experienced mechanical trouble in the northern part of the Yucatan Peninsula.
The fisherman were lost at sea on January 14, 2024. They drifted for two days before Harmony of the Seas located them and performed the rescue operation.
Harmony of the Seas located the fisherman and the dog and sent a rescue craft from the ship.

Harmony’s crew rescued the fisherman and dog and provided shelter, food and drinks after the rescue. The fisherman and dog were later transferred to the Mexican Navy so that they could return home.
Royal Caribbean Harmony of the Seas was on a Western Caribbean ittinerary from Galveston, Texas at the time of the rescue.
The ship is visiting Roatan, Costa Maya and Cozumel on this sailing. Guests are enjoying all the ports of call on the sailing. The ship will return to Galveston on Sunday, January 21, 2024.
