This article is Weekend Fun on Carnival Conquest! It is a overview of my experience sailing on a three night Carnival Conquest cruise to Nassau from Miami!
Carnival Conquest offers three and four night sailings from Miami to the Bahamas. These cruises are well known as party cruises and you will often find lots of bachelor and bachelorette parties as well as just fun weekend aways!
This sailing took place in Spring 2022.

Booking
I booked the sailing on Carnival Conquest in an inside room in what is known as an upper and lower room. That is a room that has bunk bed type accommodations for two people. if you are sailing alone, you will normally only find one bed in the room, but the room steward can open up the ceiling and another bed will drop down.
I paid about $400 for the cruise fare and then bought the Cheers Package for drinks and water bottles on the ship. In addition, I bought the premium internet package for posting online. All in I paid approximately $1,000 for the sailing.
The room was comfortable and had enough storage for a solo traveler.
With the ship being an older one there are limited power port options.
I would recommend bringing a power strip. You can also get the use of an additional outlet with an adapter for a European outlet just note you will need to convert the power from 220 to 110 so I recommend one of these for that to protect your devices. Some newer electronics can accept either voltage but you just want to make sure you are protected.
Overall the room was comfortable. Here is a quick room tour video.
It was a fun cruise that I got to go on especially because I got to sail with Cruiselifematt! We had fun exploring the ship and Nassau going on his famous Nassau Pub Crawl!
Four Highlights for the Cruise!
Carnival Conquest sure was a fun weekend cruise. Thinking back there were four things that made the experience on Carnival Conquest excellent!
Guy’s Burgers for an amazing lunch!
Carnival is known for great burgers thanks to their partnership with Guy Fieri.
Every Carnival ship offers Guy’s Burgers for some excellent burgers!
Carnival Conquest is no exception.
From the first meal on board to snacks throughout the sailing I loved grabbing a burger!
The burger spot is located near the pool on the lido deck and frequently had a long line. The line moved quickly and it was always worth the wait.
There is an official menu that you can ask for but in practice you just wait in line and get a plain cheeseburger and then go to the toppings bar to make the burger your own! I loved that concept and was able to try a variety of great toppings.
Guy’s Burgers definitely made the cruise awesome.
If you are a regular Guy’s Burgers fan you may notice the fries look a little different. That was because during the pandemic the fries changed a bit. I am told now they are mostly back to the regular famous ones now which will make an additional improvement over the
Carnival Brings the Party
Carnival is known as the Fun Ships and these weekend cruises definitely do not disappoint!
From fun parties on the Lido deck to some great comedian shows and the piano bar you are bound to have a good time.
In addition Carnival has fun dining room staff who like to party as well!
It is definitely a fun time on Carnival!
Awesome Craft Cocktails at Alchemy Bar
Carnival has fun bartenders throughout the ship and you can sample some great cocktails.
I had the Cheers drink plan so that allows up to 12 drinks per day. That was definitely way more then I would order but it allowed me to try ones without feeling worried over the cost.
Every evening I enjoyed spending time at the Alchemy Bar where the bartenders made some awesome craft drinks!
Of course you can order traditional drinks also throughout the ship like frozen ones but I really found these hand shaken and crafted beverages at the Alchemy Bar to be amazing! It helped make the trip awesome.
In addition, the bar is located near the Piano Bar so you often get to hear some good tunes from the performer while you enjoy fun drinks at the Alchemy Bar!
Nassau Port Day with Cruiselifematt!
As you know hanging out with fun people definitely can make a vacation amazing! This time around that is definitely the case!
I loved the port day in Nassau with Cruiselifematt! We met up with some other people from Norwegian and went on a bar crawl to Pirate Republic, Sharkeez and of course Senor Frogs! Here is Matt’s write up about the Nassau Bar Crawl!
It was fun trying some local beers with a flight at Pirate Republic!
All of the beers were awesome! In addition you might luck out and get to hear some live music while are are at the brewery as they do that some days!
At Sharkeez you can grab lunch or plenty of Bahama Mama’s!
The food is actually pretty good and it is a great place to chill before you are ready to party at the famous last stop on Matt’s Nassau Pub Crawl which is Senor Frogs!
You can have fun on the dance floor and laughing at the silly stage games or just enjoy some more cocktails!
Here’s a little clip from some of the fun at Senor Frogs:
Of course if you would rather step away from the crazy party be sure to enjoy a drink while taking in a view like this from Senor Frogs!
Nassau has a lot of fun opportunities from tours to Atlantis or snorkeling and more check out the options on Expedia!
You can also have fun checking out the colorful buildings in Nassau such as the Straw Market!
The market is a place to find a lot of lower priced souvenirs and all that but you have to really be good at negotiating otherwise you may pay too much!
Anyway it was an awesome day in Nassau. Even when you leave it can be really awesome when you get views like this one!

It sure was a fun weekend cruise on Carnival Conquest!
