Shanghai in September –
September is going to be a busy travel month for me. I have a couple trips booked in order to re-qualify for American Airlines Executive Platinum.
The first trip is to Shanghai. I will be traveling via Dallas Fort Worth on American’s 787. I am excited for the flight as it will be my first time on the 787. Earlier in the year I looked into flying on American’s first 787 flight from Dallas to Chicago but the schedule did not work out.
For this trip I will be spending two nights in the city.
I previously visited Beijing and got to see The Great Wall and have a great Peking Duck dinner. This time I am excited to visit Shanghai as it is near the water.
Earlier in the year I participated in the Rite Aid promo that earned two free hotel nights at Hyatt. I am making use of those in Shanghai and will be staying at the Hyatt on the Bund.
I plan to walk around and see some of the local attractions but I would love to hear any comments or suggestions for things to do.
