Delta One Narita Singapore

This post covers a review of Delta One Narita Singapore.

This post is the second of three from Colin, a fellow traveler. Colin is a Delta Diamond Member and he recently traveled in Delta One from Detroit to Tokyo and onwards to Singapore. He utilized a GPU to upgrade the flight and he received the upgrade around boarding time. The flight from Narita to Singapore on Delta was operated on a 767.

Boarding

Boarding began about 45 min before departure at gate 25. It was as always in Tokyo, extremely organized and calm. I boarded with premium and made my way to my seat.

Seat

The seat was stocked with pillows, bedding, headphones, a Tumi amenity kit and a bottle of water, along with a pair of slippers.

Seat controls are located on the arm wrest, and are quite easy to use.

While settling in the purser came around and distributed pre-flight drinks, I opted for a glass of champagne.

While enjoying it I took a moment to browse the dinner menu.

In Flight

Once we were up in the air, I settled in. The seats on the 767 are not nearly as comfortable as they were on my previous flight.

Dinner Service

Dinner was served shortly after, I had opted for the chicken Cacciatore, and a glass of red wine. The chicken was quite good if a bit overcooked.

Pre-Arrival Meal

I spent most of the flight sleeping, only to wake up for the pre -landing snack, which I had opted for the Soy Sauce Ramen which was very good.

Landing

We made a quick and uneventful decent into Singapore, landing at about 10 PM.

Summary

Overall this flight was quite good in terms of the service more so then the food. While the food wasn’t bad per say….the flight attendants were very attentive and continually refilled my drink without even asking.

Have you flown on Delta One on a 767? What are your thoughts?
