Booking
I received a phone call from the time share sales area at Hilton during the summer who offered a $199 three-night stay which is refunded upon completion of a time share presentation. In addition, a $200 Hilton rebate form was offered as well.
I called to book the package and initially I was offered to stay at the Trump Resort. I declined that option and asked for Elara.
The agent initially said it was not available but after a few minutes they said they could confirm it for the dates.

The room had a large picture window that overlooked Paris and Planet Hollywood as well as the back of the Las Vegas Strip.
The room featured a kitchen with stove, microwave, dishwasher and full size refirdgerator.
A dining room with a high top style table was present near the kitchen.

The curtains could be controlled from a panel by the bedroom door and they functioned without issue.
The linens were soft and comfortable and the bed was excellent. I got a good night’s sleep throughout the stay.

The Hilton Elara offers a swimming pool outside of the lobby and bar area.
A bar was setup in the middle of the lobby as well as a small lounge.
The areas were not busy during the stay.

Vacation Ownership Presentation Lounge
On the morning after I checked in, I was required to attend a vacation ownership presentation for Hilton Grand Vacations Club.
The presentation took place off site at the Hilton Grand Vacation Club on the Las Vegas Strip which is located about 20 minutes from the Hilton Elara.
Upon arrival at the presentation site, I was invited to relax in the lounge before the presentation began.
The lounge was decorated with modern décor and it offered a variety of seating areas with tables for three people.
There were also larger tables for families.
The lounge offered a drink station and a small snack buffet.
The drink station featured a coffee machine where you could select a beverage such as espresso, mocha, cappuccino and hot chocolate.
The drink station also had tea options as well as a touch screen Coca-Cola machine where you could select to customize your Coca-Cola or other beverages.
Waters and juice were also available at the station.

Vacation Ownership Presentation
The Hilton Grand Vacation Club Ownership Presentation consisted of a 45-minute group video where the highlights of ownership was displayed.
Once the video was complete, a sales rep had a discussion with you personally at a table.
The options were flexible and they started in the $60k range and went down to around $11k.
I did not elect to purchase.
The presentation in total including the travel time between the two locations was two hours and 30 minutes. This was about 30 minutes longer than the promised time.
Check Out
On the morning of my departure from the Hilton Elara Las Vegas I approached the front desk and noted four agents present and two other guests were being assisted.
An agent invited me to the desk and he offered assistance. After I requested to check out, he learned my room number and confirmed my name.
The agent thanked me for my stay at the hotel and he said that there were no charges and he said that I was all set.
The agent did not offer transportation assistance or luggage storage. The agent wished me a good day.
Departure
I departed the Hilton Elara via Lyft. The doorman greeted me as I departed the hotel and he wished me a good trip.
The Lyft and UBER area is clearly marked at the hotel.
My departure was not further acknowledged.
Overall
My stay at the Hilton Elara Las Vegas was good overall. I was impressed by the upgrade to the one bedroom suite at the hotel. The room was certainly too large for one person. It was awesome that it had a whirlpool tub; however, I never ended up using it during the stay. The staff I interacted with provided efficient service. The vacation ownership presentation was a bit long but I did not feel pressured.

That jetted tub looks wonderful after a long day walking the Strip or partying and gambling all night in the casino & clubs. I like how the HGVC rooms are more like an apartment or a condo versus the traditional hotel room. Glad you had a good experience. Where will you use your $200 Hilton certificate?
