This article is Sheraton Grand Chicago Experience. It highlights my experience staying at the Sheraton Grand In Chicago.
The hotel review is part of my Chicago Spring Work Trip Report.
Booking
I booked my hotel stay for cash at a rate of about $315 per-night.
Chicago hotels during the week can often get expensive due to conferences and other popular activities.
You can stay at the Sheraton using SPG or Marriott points (converted to SPG).
My work will be covering the hotel stay as I am attending a conference.
Location
The Sheraton Grand Chicago is located near Michigan Avenue close to Navy Pier.

Arrival
I arrived at the Sheraton Grand Chicago via Lyft. The drive from the airport took a little over an hour and 15 minutes as it was rush hour in Chicago.
The drive up area was busy with activity due to the three large conferences occurring in the city including a Restaurant supplier and medical group.
I entered the lobby and made my way to the reception desk.
There were four agents present and two other guests were being assisted.
One of the agents invited me to the desk and welcomed me to the hotel. The agent asked for my name and he offered assistance. After I provided my name, he used it and he welcomed me to the hotel.
The agent confirmed the reservation and thanked me for being an SPG member. The agent offered a late check out. I accepted and he asked what time. I said the latest possible. He asked if 2:00 PM was okay. I accepted.
The agent informed me that I was upgraded to a larger room and I would receive Sheraton Club access.
The guest service agent reviewed my identification card and asked me to make a payment using the credit card machine.
The team member processed the registration and he issued the keys. The guest service agent informed me about the hotel facilities including the gym, pool and steam room. The agent also pointed out the Burger restaurant at the hotel, gift shop and Shula’s and he offered additional assistance.
The registration process lasted about five minutes. The agent wished me a good day.
