Celebrity Apex

Celebrity Apex is one of the EDGE Class ships in Celebrity’s fleet. Apex debuted during the Covid-19 Pandemic with sailings in Greece followed by sailings in the Caribbean and Europe. The Celebrity Apex features the iconic Magic Carpet deck that moves up and down the ship to offer experiences from a great bar on sea days, to awesome dinners under the stars as well as it serves as the tender platform when the ship anchors off the shore.

Booking

I booked Celebrity Apex in an inside cabin on a seven-night Western Caribbean itinerary with stops in the Bahamas, Mexico, Belize and Grand Cayman. I paid $2,100 for the sailing and was booked with all-inclusive amenities including Premium Drink Package, Premium Internet and Prepaid Gratuities. The package that I booked is no longer available, but you can still get the all-in package that includes basic alcohol, basic Wi-Fi and tips.

I traveled to Fort Lauderdale the day before the cruise and used miles and points for the flight. I also stayed at a hotel near the airport using miles and points.

There are five things that made my cruise amazing. The following five things made the cruise amazing!

1. Amazing Cruise Director Giuseppe (@thatcrazysicilian) Who Brought the Fun

The first thing that made the cruise on Celebrity Amex amazing was having cruise director Giuseppe the host of the cruise.

Giuseppe is an incredible cruise director (@thatcrazysicilian on Instagram). His vibrant personality, contagious energy, and witty sense of humor brought fun and excitement to every moment of our trip. From engaging poolside games and entertaining trivia nights to hosting the most memorable dance parties, Giuseppe made sure there was never a dull moment on board. His passion for his job and dedication to creating an unforgettable experience for guests truly made our cruise exceptional.

I loved how Giuseppe led parties in the Grand Plaza including an epic Silent Disco battle the last night of the trip!

2. Incredible Performances in the Theater with talented singers and dancers

The second thing that made my experience on Celebrity Apex was the incredible performances in the theater.

The theater on Celebrity Apex was nothing short of spectacular. The performances by the talented singers and dancers were simply mesmerizing. From Broadway-style shows to live music performances, the entertainment options were top-notch.

I was captivated by the breathtaking performances that showcased the incredible talent of the onboard entertainers. The state-of-the-art theater, with its comfortable seating and awe-inspiring visuals, provided the perfect setting for a night of world-class entertainment.

The Tree of Life Show was amazing with the focal point being life around a tree.

Another great show was Rockumentary with awesome rock & roll tunes.

3. The awesome shore experience of the Western Caribbean Ports

The third thing that made my experience on Celebrity Apex enjoyable was having fun shore days in Western Caribbean ports of Bimini, Cozumel, Belize City and Grand Cayman!

I loved sailing to Bimini for the first time and getting to check out the beautiful beach and cool island experience.

In Cozumel I went to a beach club for the day and got to enjoy being outside in the sunshine with food and drinks. I lounged by the pool and spent time enjoying the amenities at the beach club.

I loved going on the long tender ride in Belize City and then exploring the beautiful port. I got some great pictures of the ship from the tender.

Grand Cayman was also a tender day and I got a few more pictures of the beautiful Celebrity Apex from the tender as well as from land in Grand Cayman.

4. Amazing Main Dining Room Food at the Four Theme Restaurants

The fourth thing that I loved about sailing on Celebrity Apex was the Four Theme Restaurants of the Main Dining Room onboard.

The dining options on Celebrity Apex were truly exceptional. The ship boasts four main theme restaurants, each offering a unique culinary experience.

In Tuscany you can get some awesome Italian pasta and tasty dishes.

In Normandy sample some incredible French options.

In the Cosmpolitian you can have some modern favorites in a cool setting.

In addition, there are Greek options in Cyprus to round out the experience.

The food in each of the dining rooms were awesome. I loved trying items from the shared menu between the restaurants as well as tried items from the specialty menu unique to each theme.

5. Beautiful Sunrises and Sunsets at Sea

The fifth thing that I loved about being on Celebrity Apex was having so many beautiful places onboard to take in a beautiful sunrise and sunset while at sea!

One of the most enchanting aspects of sailing on Celebrity Apex was the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets at sea. There is something truly magical about witnessing the sky painted in hues of orange, pink, and purple as the sun rises or sets over the horizon. I was treated to awe-inspiring vistas that left us in awe of the natural beauty of the world. Whether we were relaxing on the deck with a refreshing drink in hand or gazing out from our balcony, these stunning moments were the perfect way to start or end each day on our cruise.

Sailing on Celebrity Apex was a truly remarkable experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the amazing cruise director Giuseppe, who brought the fun to the incredible performances in the theater, the fun-filled shore days it truly was a #JourneyWonderFULL adventure!
