Perfect Day at Coco Cay
Royal Caribbean has been continuously updating its private island in the Bahamas.
Perfect Day at Coco Cay offers a lot different areas to relax, play and have a lot of fun in the Bahamas Sun.
I loved visiting the island when I sailed on Freedom of the Seas this past spring.
My favorite part was the pool party with the DJ and swim up bar.
Hideaway Beach
This week Royal Caribbean announced an additional area on Perfect Day at Coco Cay. The new area is called Hideaway Beach and it will be adults only area featuring a swim up bar, new bars and pool party experiences.
The new area looks pretty awesome with a great beach, large pool and DJ experience.
This will be the first area at Perfect Day at Coco Cay that is for adults only.
The new adults only beach will be opening in January, 2024 in time for Icon of the Seas inaugural.
When I visited the pool party felt adults only with everyone drinking from the swim up bar and DJ; however, it was in an area that kids could visit.
So the new area will be a change which will allow adults a place away from their kids to relax in the sun, have some cocktails and enjoy the DJ music.
Admission Charge Applies
While the most of the areas on Perfect Day at Coco Cay are complimentary, Hideaway Beach will have a cover charge.
Royal Caribbean is currently offering guests passes to the beach via the cruise planner online at a cost of approximately $90 for the day.
Royal Caribbean previously hinted that the space would be free when the plans for the development were announced.
Now that an opening date is set, they reversed course and are making the experience to require a cover charge.
Cabanas
In addition to the day charge for visiting Hideaway Beach at Perfect Day at Coco Cay, Royal Caribbean will offer cabanas for rent to make the experience more private.
The Cabanas are very expensive and are currently being offered for approximately $1600.
From the picture these cabanas look pretty amazing with the infinity pool swim out and cool design; however, the $1,600 rental charge is significant.
The cabana will allow for access of 8 people with day passes to the pool party at Hideaway Beach.
In addition, the cabana will include free bottled water as well as complimentary food.
Royal Caribbean also noted that the cabanas will include private lockable storage, sink and mini fridge, cooler, ceiling fan, charging outlets, resort-style seating, and floating beach mats.
If you want to bring more than 8 people to the cabana Royal Caribbean will charge an additional $50 per-person.
On The Rocks Bar
You will be able to experience a new bar at Hideaway Beach called On the Rocks Bar.
The bar will feature new drinks and will be located near the new beach as well as next to a rocky area at Perfect Day at Coco Cay.
Slice of Paradise
Pizza lovers will enjoy the restaurant at Hideaway Beach called Slice of Paradise.
Royal Caribbean promises a great pizza to provide great refuel for the party in the pool!
In addition, Snack Shack will offer burgers, crispy chicken sandwiches, and fresh salads.
Hideaway Beach
Royal Caribbean’s Hideaway Beach at Perfect Day at Coco Cay sounds like a pretty awesome experience.
I am thinking about getting a day pass when I experience Icon of the Seas in January, 2024.
While the admission cost of about $90 is a bit steep it will be nice to have an area free from kids at Perfect Day on Coco Cay.
Are you looking forward to Hideaway Beach?
