Background
Huntsville has a lot of history going back hundreds of years. It had battles of the Civil War and other major events over the past several hundred years.
Because of all the battles and history, several of the properties in the area have ghost stories attached with them.
The tour provided an opportunity to walk around the city and see where ghost sittings occurred.

Tour Guide
A tour guide greeted all the attendees and provided an introduction and background on Huntsville.
The tour guide was knowledgeable about history and she could talk about ghost experiences she or other people had.
The guide walked us from building to building to talk about what ghosts or spirits had been present at each of the location.
Tour
The tour walked us through the streets in Huntsville and we made stops at business’, personal homes, churches and masonic temples.
At each location, the tour guide provided a story about the ghost at the event.
The tour did not go inside any of the locations but the guide provided colorful descriptions of the stories about the ghosts that were experienced.
I enjoyed seeing some of the classic old and historic buildings.
Some of the buildings were damaged by a tornado years ago and had to be rebuilt from photographs and other items.
The architecture was excellent and the houses and buildings were enjoyable to watch.
Ghosts
I did not encounter any ghosts or spirits on the tour. Two of the participants had dogs with them and at a couple of the locations, the dogs were acting up like they felt the spirit or ghost.
The dogs seemed agitated at those locations more than any of the others on the tour.
The guide said that they frequently have that happen with dogs on the tour.

The tour offered some notes into the history of Huntsville. The tour guide was knowledgeable and had a lot of colorful stories about ghosts. I enjoyed the chance to walk around the city and see some of the old buildings and homes. I felt that it was more of a history tour and a showoff of the old properties in the city rather than a ghost tour. It was surprising that we did not go inside any of the locations.
