United Club Minneapolis

Prior to our flight to Phoenix and Guadalajara my wife and I visited the United Club at MSP airport in the E terminal.

The lounge at MSP is small but it is a nice retreat from the regular gate area.

Arrival

We approached the lounge and were greeted at the reception desk by an agent who asked for our identification cards and access card. We presented the day pass, and the agent asked us to write our name on the back of the card.

The agent scanned the passes and he thanked us and asked us to enjoy the lounge.

Lounge Experience

The lounge is one room with a variety of tables and chairs.

On one of the walls there is a window that overlooks the gate area.

There were only a few people at the lounge when we arrived and there were plenty of tables and chairs available.

We selected a seat near the window.

The chairs were leather and they were soft and comfortable.

The lounge has a bar to the left with a few tables and chairs surrounding it. A small wall separates the other area of the lounge.

The bar is hosted and it offers both complimentary and for-purchase beverages.

A small food serving area is available near the bar.

For breakfast, oatmeal, bagels, fruit, yogurt and cereal was available as well as a few pastries.

A coffee machine is also available in that area. The machine offered a variety of Espresso drinks.

Another small station with regular coffee, tea and water was available near the seating area.

I selected a cappuccino from the machine as well as a muffin.

The cappuccino was hot. The Espresso was fresh and it had a goods taste. The muffin was at room temperature and it was fresh and sweet.

We relaxed for about 35 minutes or so while we waited for the time to board the plane.

The staff members that we interacted with in the club were friendly and polite and we enjoyed our visit overall.

Departure from the Lounge

When it was time to board our flight, we departed the lounge.

The agent at the front desk greeted us and she thanked us sincerely and she asked us to have a good flight.

Summary

Although the lounge is small it is comfortable and the cappuccino was excellent. I would return to the lounge again in the future before one of my other flights.

Have you visited the United Club at MSP? How did you enjoy your visit?
