Tokyo Flight Review Introduction
This is a post that details Tokyo Flight Review Introduction. It will summarize the upcoming posts.
Colleague Review
One of my colleagues recently traveled to Tokyo on American Airlines. He wrote the trip report during his trip and shared it with me. I added a few details to match some of my other reviews; however, the content is his.
My colleague is a business traveler and is an American Airlines Executive Platinum Member. He gets One World Emerald Status when traveling internationally and gets access to First Class Lounges.
I hope you will enjoy this review as it covers a new destination for the John the Wanderer Blog – Tokyo Haneda Airport including the JAL First Class Lounge. In addition, the report covers the Qantas First Lounge at LAX.
Trip Details
The flights were booked in economy and an upgrade request using System Wide certificates was requested.
The outbound flights between Minneapolis and Los Angeles and Los Angeles and Tokyo cleared about a day before the flight. The return flights were initially waitlisted and then cleared on the day of departure.
The overwater flights were operated on a 787 Dreamliner. The aircraft offers lie flat seats in the Business Cabin including some that are forward facing and others that our rear facing seats.
