American Airlines Admirals Club First Class Lounge LAX
This is a review of American Airlines Admirals Club First Class Lounge LAX.
The review was written by my colleague who had a trip in Business Class on American traveling to Tokyo.
The lounge in Terminal 4 was under renovation during the visit. Signs were posted indicating about the changes that were coming.
The Flagship Lounge was moved to the back of the regular lounge.
Reception
The agent at the reception desk used my name and she confirmed I was traveling on the flight to Haneda. Once she did, she provided an invitation to the First Class Lounge, which was the new name for the Flagship section.
The agent at the First Class section greeted me after taking the invitation and welcoming me into the lounge.
Lounge Setup
The First Class Lounge was a collection of chairs with mini tables in a main area that overlooked the gate area and taxi-ways.
A second section was setup with tables and chairs for those dining as well as another section of regular chairs with small tables.
A side room was setup with the First Class dining buffet.
Food and Beverage Options
The lounge featured self-service food and drinks.
Within the main room two refrigerators were present. The first stocked with sodas, still and sparkling water and juice.
The second was stocked with beer and wine.
The buffet room offered a selection of hot and cold items.
The hot items included Western and Japanese options which were all signed indicating what was available.
The cold items included fruit, salmon, parfait and a variety of breads. Signs were also present indicating what each item was.
The buffet was maintained by staff throughout the visit and all the food looked appetizing.
Lounge Experience
After getting a glass of champagne, I relaxed for 30 minutes before the flight.
One server greeted me and offered to remove the used glass.
Departure
An agent thanked me when I departed the First Class section. Agents near the guest services desk in the main lounge also thanked me as I departed the lounge.
Overall
The lounge was clean and in good condition. There were plenty of seating options available during the visit. The staff that I interacted with were cordial and welcoming. The champagne was fresh and dry and it was nice relaxing in the lounge prior to my flight.
