Awesome Rocket City Adventure Party Old School Huntsville

This post is Awesome Rocket City Adventure Party Old School Huntsville. It is about my experience partying in an old school in Huntsville at Campus No. 805.

Background

I attended the TBEX conference with connected bloggers and other travel writers with vendors and travel providers for a week of networking, education and fun.

During the conference, there were three celebrations. The first celebration was a party in a lumberyard. The second party was a Party Under a Rocket at the US Rocket and Space Center! The third event was an amazing celebration in an old school in Huntsville!

Location

Huntsville had an old school that was no longer utilized that offered several buildings on a large campus.

The school went unused for many years and it ultimately was converted to an event space called Campus No. 805.

Campus 805 rents space to restaurants, bars, breweries and entertainment attractions and houses them together within the existing school buildings.

Party

Campus 805 currently features two breweries, which both share space with restaurants and are separated by the athletic field where you can play soccer or football or relax on the grass.

Several bars were in other sections of the old school, which offered pool tables and other items.

A pinball gaming area was setup in another section of the building.

In the school cafeteria, there was a performance space with a live orchestra band as well as food.

A sushi restaurant was also located within the school grounds.

If you are lucky, you can find the hidden speakeasy bar that is located somewhere within the facility.

Food Options

TBEX offered a exploration pass, which granted the attendees with a pint of craft beer at each of the breweries as well as a complete dinner.

For dinner, you had your choice of BBQ, Pizza, American Food, Sushi or health food from a food truck.

The Pizza was available from Earth and Stone Woodfire Pizza.

The American food was offered by Ale’s Kitchen.

BBQ Dinner

I wanted local cuisine so I had dinner from Bubba’s Catering, which was setup in the cafeteria.

The BBQ offered pulled pork, BBQ chicken, baked beans and Cole Slaw.

I selected pulled pork, baked beans and Cole Slaw.

The pulled pork was served hot. The pork was flavored well and it was seasoned with a slightly spicy BBQ sauce. The pork was smoked well and it had an excellent flavor.

The baked beans were fresh and they were in a tangy and mild tomato based sauce.

The Cole Slaw was also fresh and it had an excellent taste.

I ordered a craft beer from Yellowhammer and Straight to Ale.

Both beers were bold in flavor and they were excellent.

Music

Live music was offered at both bars.

The music included a cover band who was lively and there were people dancing along to the music.

A comedy show was also being performed near one of the breweries.

Shots

The Lone Goose Saloon offered a free shot to all the guests as well.

The shot was refreshing and it enhanced the fun of the night.

Overall

Campus 805 is an awesome entertainment venue in Huntsville.

It sure was an Awesome Rocket City Adventure Party Old School Huntsville at Campus 805.

I had a great time celebrating the end of TBEX and enjoying some of the great food and drink venues of the city. You should check it out on your next trip to Huntsville.
