Awesome Rocket City Adventure American Airlines HSV CLT
This post is Awesome Rocket City Adventure American Airlines HSV CLT. It is a trip report on my flight on American Airlines flying from Huntsville to Charlotte.

Airport Experience
The Huntsville airport was quiet with activity upon arrival. There were no lines at any of the check in counters at the airport.
I received TSA pre-check and I used the app to check in.
After joining the TSA Pre-check line, I found two other guests in front of me so I joined behind them.
The security process was efficient and I entered the terminal within two minutes.
The airport has a couple restaurants and a gift shop within the terminal.
There are 12 gates; however, only one or two are utilized at a given time.
The airport is served by American, Delta, United and a smaller local provider that offers flights to one or two destinations.
There is plenty of seating available throughout the airport as well as WiFi.
While in the airport several other attendees of TBEX were noted and were gathering in the bar and other areas.
Boarding
The airplane arrived shortly before the boarding time and within a few minutes, all the passengers deplaned and boarding for the flight to Charlotte started.
I joined the line and the gate agent greeted me and asked me to scan my boarding pass.
The aircraft was a CR9, which required all roller bags to be plane-side checked and the agent provided a claim check and tagged the bags.
The boarding was efficient and the door was closed around the scheduled departure time.
During boarding, I realized that four or five of the people I met during TBEX were on the same flight.
Even though I travel frequently, this was unusual to see several people I know on the same flight.

The plane departed the gate, but had a brief delay or ground stop.
After about five minutes, there was a short taxi before the plane was up in the air.
Seat
I located my seat and relaxed prior to departure.
The seat was a standard economy seat at the front of the cabin on the regional jet. The aircraft offered WiFi.
The seat was of average comfort and it had plenty of leg room. The seat was positioned directly in front of the walkway in the first-class cabin.
In Flight Experience
Within 20 minutes of going up in the air, the flight attendants offered a snack service followed by a beverage.
The snack was a package of pretzels.
A drink was offered from a small beverage cart.
I requested water, and the flight attendant provided it and asked me to enjoy it.
The flight attendants circulated the cabin a few times during the flight.
Landing
Despite the brief delay at departure, the aircraft landed on time and after a short taxi, it arrived at the gate in Charlotte.
The flight attendants thanked the passengers as they departed the plane.
The bags were delivered in the jet way within five minutes.

Overall
This covered by the Awesome Rocket City Adventure American Airlines HSV CLT was good overall.
The trip was was a short one. The flight attendants were polite and the only drawback was the lack of the snack options. It is always nice when you get a choice of the cookies, peanuts or pretzels. Otherwise the flight was uneventful.
It was a surprise having a lot of people that I knew on the flight, which made for a cool experience.
