Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge LaGuardia
This post is Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge LaGuardia. It is a review of my first time visiting the lounge at LaGuardia. This post is part of my Dominican Republic Mission Trip Report.
Location
The Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge LaGuardia is located pre-security in terminal B on the third level.
The third level consists of a long non-descript hallway that was not welcoming and it could be confusing as there were a lack of signage in many areas of the third level.
This hallway connects the American Express Centurion Lounge and the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge as well as some TSA and other offices.
Access
I accessed the lounge thanks to my Priority Pass membership.
Priority Pass gives you access to lounges around the world.
If you do not get Priority Pass with your credit card, you can apply for an individual membership.
Arrival
I arrived at the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge LaGuardia and the agent welcomed me and inquired about my day. The agent processed my membership card and boarding pass. The agent asked me to sign the terminal before offering a receipt for the visit. Once registration was complete, the agent thanked me and wished me a pleasant stay at the lounge.
The activity level was low during the visit and there were several tables and chairs available throughout the lounge.

Lounge Setup
The Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge LaGuardia features a main seating area with couches and chairs with and without tables.
The lounge offers obstructed views of the tarmac area.
Another seating area was tucked away around a corner. That area featured a few more chairs as well as a small business center.
The lounge decorations were simple yet tasteful.
A small bar featuring Molson Golden Beer and a few alcohol bottles was present as well as a small buffet area.
Food Options
The food options at Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge LaGuardia included soup, hummus, edamame and a few salads, salsa and chips.
The food items were setup neatly and they were signed.
A coffee machine with touchscreen espresso drink options was also available.
Lounge Experience
Once I arrived, I located a chair near the window and relaxed for a few minutes.
After a few minutes, I approached the bar and after a few minutes of waiting, a bartender arrived and offered a drink. Since I was visiting the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge LaGuardia, I requested Molson Canadian Beer. The agent thanked me and he provided it in a clean beer glass.
The beer was served chilled and it had a good taste. It was Golden in color to match the name and it was poured in a Molson Canadian logo glass.
Food
I selected hummus, tortilla chips, cous cous salad and edamame from the buffet.
The hummus was a Siracha variety and it was hot a tangy. The hummus was fresh and it tasted good with the tortilla chips.
The edamame was served chilled. The beans were fresh and they had a good flavor.
The cous cous salad was served chilled. The salad had a good flavor and it was prepared with spinach and vegetables.
I relaxed for a little while before having to depart.
The bartender was noted to circulate the room to remove used dishes and restock the buffet area during the visit.
Departure
When I was ready to depart the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge LaGuardia I walked by the bar and the bartender smiled to acknowledge me.
As I departed the lounge, the agent at the reception desk thanked me and she wished me a pleasant flight.
The activity level remained light at the time I departed.
Summary
The visit was good overall. It is nice that the bar features Canadian Beer and had some unique food options. The agent at the front desk was polite. The lounge was comfortable and relaxing and I enjoyed my stay overall. The fact that the lounge is pre-security is both good and bad. Good as it can be accessed by someone from any of the terminals, but bad because you still have to go through security after leaving the lounge.

Very helpful and thorough review! We visited an air Canada lounge in Toronto last year and were disappointed so this is good to know!
