My wife and I are able to access the MERA Business Lounge Cancun Terminal 3 thanks to our Priority Pass membership.
The lounge is shared and allows access via various methods.
Arrival
Upon arrival at the lounge, we noted that the occupancy level was nearly 100%.
An agent welcomed us when we arrived and he promptly processed my Priority Pass card before offering a WiFi password. The agent welcomed us into the lounge.
It took us a few minutes to find two seats together as all the tables and chairs were taken when we arrived.
Fortunately, a family was getting ready to leave, so we were able to take their seats.
Setup
The MERA Business Lounge Cancun Terminal 3 was recently renovated.
The lounge is decorated in white tone walls, with wooden structures with sections of grass present, which gave it a modern and comfortable fee.
The lounge was one large room that featured various tables and chairs as well as couch and shared seating throughout.
A community table was located across from the bar and food area.
One section near the entrance included some modern chairs and was more private than the other areas of the lounge.
Food Options
The lounge featured a variety of snacks including some hot food.
The hot items included tamales, chicken strips and vegetables that were served from a hot buffet.
Small sandwiches, chips and crackers were also available at the lounge.
A small self service bar was available with two types of beer, multiple wines and a variety of alcohol options.
A staff member occasionally staffed the area and offered to prepare beverages for guests while they waited.
A coffee station was present with a Nespresso Machine that guests could use to prepare various coffee drinks.
Televisions with sports were shown throughout the lounge.
Lounge Experience
My wife and I took a seat in one of the couches and relaxed for a few hours before our flight to Charlotte.
A staff member greeted us at our table and removed used items and maintained the station.
I made a drink from the bar, which was a bloody mary.
The drink was served in a plastic cup and it had a good flavor overall. I added mixers to it and select my own alcohol. A server later offered to assist with preparing one.
The bartender approached us as well and offered refills to our drinks while we were seated.
The lounge remained packed throughout the visit.
The WiFi worked well and the Internet speed was fast.
Departure
When we were ready to depart the MERA Business Lounge Cancun Terminal 3, we made our way to the reception desk. The server thanked us sincerely when we got up from our seats and the agent at the desk also thanked us. The agent wished us a pleasant flight.
The lounge remained at around 95% occupancy when we departed.
Overall
Our visit to the MERA Business Lounge Cancun Terminal 3 was good overall. It was good timing that the family was leaving when we arrived, so we relaxed on the couch throughout our visit. The staff members were friendly and they made us feel welcome. It is nice that we can use our Priority Pass card to access the lounge.
