Delta Sky Club Minneapolis Christmas Experience
This article is Delta Sky Club Minneapolis Christmas Experience. It is a review of my experience checking out the C terminal sky club during my Christmas trip to Michigan.
The Delta Sky Club review is part of my Christmas Travel Trip Report.
Access
I was able to access the Delta Sky Club Minneapolis Christmas Experience thanks to my American Express Platinum card which grants access to Delta Sky Clubs when I travel on Delta.
You can access a Priority Pass Lounge the PGA Golf Lounge Minneapolis where you get $15 towards food from the Ike’s menu or drinks.
Location
There are two Delta Sky Clubs at Minneapolis airport. The main one is near the F and G gates in the mall area. The second one, which is the one I visited on this trip is located in the C terminal.
I previously reviewed the C terminal club.
Arrival
Upon arrival at the lounge, an agent welcomed me, asked me to scan my boarding pass and I provided my American Express Platinum card.
The agent informed me that boarding would begin soon for my flight and she provided the gate. I said I understood but it looked like the flight was delayed as the aircraft was not at the gate. The agent called the gate and learned the same thing. She invited me into the club and wished me a good time.
The lounge was around 30% occupied during the visit. It was a pleasant surprise as the Delta Sky Club’s are frequently overcrowded.
Lounge Setup
I previously discussed the lounge setup. You can read about it here.
The lounge has various rooms which makes the lounge feel more private even when it is crowded.
Lounge Experience
I visited the food area to check out the options.
At the main buffet area there were two hot soups available.
The chilled items included a salad bar where you could make your own salad with various toppings. There were two pre-made salads including a pasta salad and hummus dip. Chips, crackers, cheese and cookies were also available.
The small buffet near the drink area at the back of the lounge offered desserts and snack mixes.
The bar was setup neatly and there were a variety of bottles where you could help yourself to mix your own drinks. Several garnishments were also available.
The area was clean and in good condition and staff members were present.
While I was walking in the lounge, two of them greeted me and wished me a good day.
I made a cocktail from the bar and relaxed for a few minutes.
Departure
When it was time to go to the gate area during the Delta Sky Club Christmas Experience, I made my way out of the lounge.
Two of the agents at the reception desk thanked me and they wished me a good flight.
The lounge activity level was about 20% when I departed.
Overall
It was a nice visit to the Delta Sky Club Minneapolis Christmas Experience. The lounge activity level was light. The staff members that I spoke with were polite. The food and drink areas were setup neatly. The cocktails were good and it was a relaxing visit over all.
