Vegas Winter Experience 2018
This article is Vegas Winter Experience 2018. It is the introduction to my Las Vegas Getaway in Winter 2018.
Las Vegas Winter 2018
My Vegas Winter Experience 2018 trip came about due to plans to attend the Affiliate Summit West Conference in Las Vegas in January 2018.
The Affiliate Summit Conference connects bloggers with media and partnership opportunities and offers a lot of networking opportunities. The conference takes place in New York and Las Vegas each year as well as other international locations.
Vegas Activities
Las Vegas is an amazing place to visit because of all the great attractions, shows, great food and much more. In addition it is located near some great landmarks that you can tour to as well.
One of the first places I start with for finding great things to do is Lonely Planet.
Lonely Planet offers an excellent guide to the city. I learned immediately about shows, dining, music and much more. Check it out before your next trip.
Another place I like to consult before trips is TripAdvisor.
TripAdvisor brings together a collection of user reviews, expert reviews as well as it gives you the opportunity to book tours and attractions directly from the webpage.
One of the things I was most looking forward to was getting to experience the High Roller at the LINQ which is an amazing ferris wheel that goes 550 feet above Las Vegas for some unprecedented views of the city.
I also love going to Bellagio to watch the Fountains of Bellagio Display. There is something incredible about the water show there that I always make time to check it out.
Booking
I booked my airfare for Vegas Winter Experience 2018 on Delta Airlines for about $295.
For my hotel, I took part in a special offer with Hilton to check out the Elara by Hilton Grand Vacation Club which is located on the center strip in Las Vegas behind Planet Hollywood.
In exchange for attending a vacation ownership presentation, I would be able to stay in the hotel for about $25 in taxes for the three night stay.
I paid $199 plus $25 in taxes up front and received a credit of $199 at the conclusion of the presentation.
You can book the Elara using Hilton Points or nightly rate of around $115 if you aren’t able to go on a package. The Elara fortunately does not add any resort fees on top of the nightly rate. As you know, Vegas is plagued with Resort Fees that are up to $40 a day now.
I had an awesome one bedroom room with a view of Paris Las Vegas.
