About a week ago, a mistake fare showed up on AA from Brazil to Asia in Business Class or First class for between $300 – $900 USD.

I know some people that booked about 5 or so of these deals. The above deal of R$1,255.42 is approximately $358.73 in US Dollars.
Some people were able to book flights on Cathay Pacific in First for about $900. That is an amazing deal.
According to posts on the web, it appears that AA quietely honored this mistake fare.
Many reported that their tickets remained in pending status for a long time but were eventually ticketed.
The deal appeared to work for most destinations in Asia and a few in Europe as well for flights ex-Brazil.
I did not get in on the deal but it would have been pretty amazing. Could have used miles to position to Brazil and then have Cathay First to Hong Kong.
