Update: This fare is available on limited dates on AA from other cities including Minneapolis to Barcelona. I found a few days in September where the fare works for $598.
Delta is offering a very good sale to Spain from many cities in the US for around $600.
The fare is offered throughout the USA but unfortunately it is not available out of any Delta Hubs (Atlanta, Cincinnati, Detroit, Memphis, Minneapolis, Salt Lake) or United Hubs (Chicago, Denver, Newark, Washington D.C., Houston, San Francisco).
Barcelona is one of my favorite cities. I love the architecture and the beach. My favorite hotel there is the W Barcelona because it is right on the beach and offers an amazing view.
You can also travel to Bilbao, Madrid, Malaga or Valencia as well.
The fare is good through March and on departures from the US on Sunday through Wednesday and returns to the US Monday through Thursday.
The deal will not last so if you live in an American hub or many other non-hub cities throughout the US, this is a great deal.
