Seoul Trip Report – Asiana Lounge – Seoul Incheon Airport

I visited the Asiana Business Class Lounge, which is a Priority Pass Lounge at Seoul Airport.

When I arrived at the front desk there were four other guests waiting in line. After waiting for two minutes, I was greeted by the agent who welcomed me and requested my boarding pass and Priority Pass card. The agent processed the Priority Pass visit and she asked me to sign the on screen device for admission. After I signed it, she printed the receipt and returned my card and boarding pass. The agent thanked me and welcomed me to the lounge.

The lounge was one large room with low to the ground seats and tables. The room did not have any windows; however, it was decorated in wood tones.

On one wall there was a large display with books and a piano.

The food and drinks were served in a buffet area. The buffet included three hot food items including tofu with chili peppers, Dutch Potatoes and mushroom soup. The chilled items included salad and sandwiches as well as breads and pastries. Noodles were also available. The alcohol selection was limited to a couple bottles of wine, beer and a few alcohol bottles.

A restroom area and shower area was provided.

The lounge had a limited number of outlets and a lot of the guests were noted to look around to try to find an available charging source.

From the buffet I selected the tofu dish and Dutch Potatoes along with a salad. The tofu dish was light and it was seasoned with chili peppers and it had an excellent flavor. The Dutch potatoes were whipped potatoes that were lightly fried. The potatoes were fresh. The salad included lettuce and kale with an Asian soy based dressing. The salad was fresh and the dressing had a good flavor.

The lounge was quiet and the chairs were comfortable. I sat in the area for about an hour. The Wifi was fast and I didn’t have any trouble accessing the internet.

The lounge had a relaxation area with massage chairs. I didn’t try out the chair but they looked comfortable.

Overall the lounge was comfortable. The food was good especially the tofu. The lounge lacked power port options. The design with the bookshelf and the piano was interesting.
