In between my flights while I was at Dallas Fort Worth, I had about 30 minutes to spare so I stopped at the American Admirals Club at C19.
When I arrived there were two colleagues working at the check in desk on the lower level and three other guests were waiting. When I reached the front of the line, a colleague welcomed me and asked for my membership card and boarding pass. I presented my Air Berlin Gold Card which gives lounge access. The agent asked me to scan my boarding pass. After I did she used my name and thanked me and welcomed me to the club and presented a beverage coupon. The agent invited me to take the elevator up to the club.
Upon arriving on the second floor I found a large open lobby with a customer service desk. Two agents were present at the desk and they smiled and welcomed me to the lounge.
The lounge is setup in multiple smaller seating area rooms with a variety of chairs, tables, and other seating areas.
The lounge areas were clean and the tables and chairs were setup neatly.
A food station was present with cereal, bagels, bread, fresh fruit, oatmeal options. The food was setup neatly and all the containers were stocked. A variety of items were available.
Several coffee stations were present throughout the lounge. The machines offered a selection of gourmet beverages.
The club was setup with a variety of unique artwork that was tastefully placed.
A large bar area was found at the far end of the club. One bartender was present. Several tables and chairs were setup with a large flat screen television tuned to news.
I located a table and chair and took a seat to relax and watch the television to learn about the weather.
After I relaxed for a while, I approached the bar and was greeted by a friendly female bartender. The bartender welcomed me and she asked what I would like. I reviewed the menu and I ordered a premium drink and provided the coupon that was presented at check in. The bartender thanked me and she prepared the drink for me and presented it on a clean cocktail napkin. I provided a tip and she thanked me and asked me to enjoy.
I ordered a Spicy Bloody Mary with Kettle One. The beverage was fresh and it had a tangy flavor. The alcohol level was good.
I enjoyed the beverage and spent a few more minutes watching the news before departing the lounge.
When I departed the colleagues at the service center thanked me and invited me to have a good day. In addition, the colleagues on the lower level by the check in desk also thanked me and wished me a good flight.
Overall the visit was nice. The club was clean and comfortable and it allowed me to relax for a few minutes. The colleagues I interacted were friendly and polite and they made me feel welcome.
