Oneworld Lounge Los Angeles Airport
This is a review of the One World Lounge Los Angeles Airport.
My colleague recently traveled to Tokyo on American Airlines and he wrote a review of his trip in business class as well as at the airport.
Access
My colleague is an American Airlines Executive Platinum member. He gets lounge access when traveling on international flights.
You can access the One World Lounge at LAX if you are an American Airlines Platinum or higher member.
Lounge Reception
The agent greeted me and welcomed me to the lounge. The agent also mentioned that I could access the Qantas First Class Lounge as well and she informed me where it was located.
Lounge Setup
The lounge was setup in a square shape with multiple seating areas.
The seating areas offered a variety of seat options from single seats to tables with chairs as well as couches.
A hosted bar was present that offered a variety of alcohol, beer, wine and sparkling wine options. The bar also served espresso drinks.
Two main buffets were available to the right of one of the seating areas.
The buffet offered a collection of Western and Asian items. There were both hot food items and cold food.
Coffee, tea, soft drinks, water and other items were also available in the food area.
Lounge Experience
I approached the bar and the bartender greeted me. The bartender offered to prepare a beverage. I requested champagne and a cappuccino. The bartender prepared the beverages and provided them to me.
The cappuccino was served hot and it was rich and creamy and it had a good taste.
The champagne was served chilled and it had a good flavor.
The staff that I interacted with at the lounge were friendly and they smiled and made me feel welcome.
Overall
The One World Lounge offers plenty of seating options. The food and beverages looked good. It was nice that there was a hosted bar. The bartender made an excellent cappuccino. I would return in the future to the lounge to relax before a flight.
