American Airlines Dallas Minneapolis
This post is a review of American Airlines Dallas Minneapolis as we returned from our Winter Hawaiian Vacation in Maui.

Seat: 6D
Upgrade
I received a complimentary upgrade to first class shortly before boarding the flight. Normally I let my wife sit in my seat if I am upgraded; however, she let me take the seat this time since she just got to relax in business class on the flight from Maui to Dallas. I used the time to get some work done on my laptop.
Ground Experience
We approached the gate area a minute or two before the scheduled boarding time.
Other passengers were standing in line near the boarding area.
The gate agents made the welcoming announcements before asking the passengers in first class to board.
My wife and I joined the line and after a couple minutes were greeted by the gate agent who welcomed us on board.
The flight attendants also welcomed as at the door.
We located our seats and noted it was a standard 737 first class seat.
The seat featured power port and WiFi. Overhead video screens were available.
The flight attendants greeted each first class passenger and offered a pre-departure beverage. I requested orange juice.
It was provided a minute later. The orange juice was sweet and it had a good taste.
Boarding completed quickly and the airplane taxied to the runway.
In Fight Experience
Once the plane was at a cruising altitude the flight attendants prepared the cabin for service.
A beverage was offered followed by a light breakfast snack.
The breakfast snack was yogurt with granola and a muffin.
The yogurt was Chobani brand and it was vanilla. It was fresh and had a good taste.
The muffin was sweet and fresh and it had a good taste.
The flight attendants were attentive in the cabin and they offered additional beverages.
The flight was relatively quick and soon enough the flight attendants were preparing the cabin for landing.
Landing
The flight landed during a small snow storm in Minneapolis. So we went from palm trees and 80 degree weather…..
….to snow and 30 degrees.
Overall
The flight went by quickly and it was a nice conclusion to our Winter Maui vacation.
