American Airlines Admiral’s Club San Francisco Quick Review
This article is American Airlines Admiral’s Club San Francisco Quick Review. It is a quick overview of our experiencing visiting the lounge prior to the departure of our flight to Minneapolis.
This review is part of my San Francisco Foodie Adventure.
Access
My wife and I accessed the lounge for our American Airlines Admiral’s Club San Francisco Quick Review thanks to my Citi Advantage Executive Card. The card grants full membership to all cardholders as well as offers guest access regardless of what airline you are flying.
The San Francisco Airport offers a Priority Pass lounge in the international terminal at the Air France Lounge. You can access regardless of what airline you are traveling on; however, you will have to clear security in that terminal as well as the terminal where your flight departs as the terminals are not connected after security.
In addition, there is a Fantastic American Express Centurion Lounge in the United Terminal. We visited the lounge during this trip as well.

Arrival
My wife and I arrived at the Admiral’s Club and were greeted by two agents at the reception desk. One of the agent processed our registration.
The agent offered to answer any questions or assist us prior to welcoming us to enjoy the lounge.
The lounge was approximately 10% occupied when we arrived.
Lounge Setup
For our American Airlines Admiral’s Club San Francisco Quick Review we noted that the lounge has an Asian flare with a central area with trees and decorations.
The lounge has a relaxation area with a variety of seats including some reclining chairs on one side of the lounge and a bar on the other.
In between the sections, there are a few different options for seating including some high top tables as well as couches.
The lounge offered windows that looked out to the airport and the aircraft. It was dark during our visit, so you couldn’t see too much during the visit.
The lounge has two food stations. The main one is located near the bar and a smaller one is located in the relaxation area near the center of the lounge.
The main food area offered two soups for hot food.
The chilled items included cheese, crackers, fresh vegetables and fruit, salad and hummus.
In addition, a water station and dessert station was available.
The secondary food station included a coffee station as well as a variety of snacks.
Lounge Experience
My wife and I had dinner at the American Express Centurion Lounge, so when we arrived at the Admiral’s Club, we simply had some snacks and spent time relaxing for the last 45 minutes or so before boarding for our flight.
I visited the bar and the bartender greeted me and offered to prepare a beverage. The bartender was polite and she prepared a beverage promptly and asked me to enjoy it.
I also had some cheese and crackers from the buffet.
My wife and I used the WiFi and relaxed on one of the comfortable couches for the remainder of the visit.
A staff member greeted us a few times and asked if we needed anything.
Departure
At the time of our departure from our American Airlines Admiral’s Club San Francisco Quick Review, the lounge was about 10% occupied
The two agents at the reception desk thanked us sincerely when we walked by and they wished us a good flight.
Overall
It was nice that the American Airlines Admiral’s Club was located a short distance from our flight so we could relax there until it was time to board. The agents were welcoming and it was nice the staff members checked in with us during the visit. The food and drinks were good and we enjoyed our quick visit to the lounge.
