Prima Plus Class
The new ship is in a new class called Prima Plus. This class is about 10% larger than the current Prima Class.
I sailed on Norwegian Prima earlier this year and had a good experience overall.

The new class is taking into account the things that people love about Prima Class and making some improvements over the things that were not as popular.
Aqua
Norwegian Aqua is scheduled to offering Caribbean and Bermuda sailings in 2025. The first sailings will be in April, 2025 offering seven-night experiences to the Caribbean. Later in the year, the ship will move to New York where she will offer Bermuda cruises.
The Aqua will feature the World’s First Hybrid Coaster.
Norwegian describes the coaster as follows:
Complete with exhilarating dual slides and a magnetic lift that propels adventurous guests through two different courses. This NCL exclusive experience will feature three stories of exciting twists and turns around the ship’s funnel.
Haven
Norwegian Haven is the exclusive suite accommodations and private retreat on the ship.
The ship will feature the first three-story suite and will offer the largest Haven complex at sea.
Haven is a ship within a ship concept on Norwegian and offers exclusive amenities, butlers and gourmet dining.
Wide Open Spaces
The new Norwegian Ship will feature more wide open spaces then in the Prima and Viva including the Ocean Boulevard which is a walkway around the ship featuring many of the restaurants as well as unique areas and infinity pools.
In addition, Norwegian will offer more pool deck space for fun in the sun.
Hull Design
The ship will feature a hip hull design by Norwegian’s First Women Designer Allison Hueman.
Allison Hueman collaborates with major brands including Nike and L’Oreal and is famous for street art campaigns.
The art looks awesome and will be a cool addition to Norwegian’s fleet.
