Cancun Trip Report –

Recently my wife and I traveled to Cancun to celebrate our anniversary. My wife and I enjoyed five nights in the warm weather and sun of Cancun Mexico.

While this trip is primarily a vacation and celebration, I wanted to provide a trip report on the flights, hotel, and airport lounge during the trip. 

As this was more of a vacation, my review of the hotel will be an overview.

My wife and I selected the trip to experience Hyatt Zilara Cancun, which is Hyatt’s Adult’s Only All Inclusive Resort. For our honeymoon, we stayed at Sandals in St. Lucia and we were a little underwhelmed. We have heard so many great things about the new Hyatt Brand so we were excited to be able to experience it first hand.

My wife and I both enjoyed the trip a lot as it was relaxing. We encountered quite a bit of rain the first few days followed by beautiful weather for the remainder of the trip. All in all it was an excellent trip and I am excited to share it with you. We stayed at the resort the entire time as we just wanted to unwind and relax without dealing with tours or other organized activities.
