San Francisco Wine Country Trip Introduction –
My wife is attending a meeting in San Francisco so we decided to take a few days and explore wine country as well as San Francisco. It is always nice making a work trip into am mini vacation.
Our plan is to spend two nights in Wine Country where we will stay at the Hyatt Vineyard Creek and then three nights in San Francisco at her conference hotel, the Hotel Nikko San Francisco.
While we are in wine country, we will be participating in the Wine Road Barrel Tasting festival where a group of 90 wineries are having tasting from barrels for wines that will be sold in the future.
We plan to visit a few of them and to check out the beautiful Sonoma Wine Country in Northern California.
I plan on walking around in the city while she is in meetings and then we will go out to some good dinners in the evening and see a few of the sites together.
This will be my wives first time visiting San Francisco and going wine tasting so I am excited to share it with her on this trip. It will also be nice to get away with her for a few days as we explore Northern California.
