San Francisco Trip Sightseeing City –
My wife is attending a meeting in San Francisco so we decided to take a few days and explore wine country as well as San Francisco. It is always nice making a work trip into am mini vacation.

For this trip, I did a lot of walking around the city.
In addition, after my wives meeting, we walked around a bit together and ate out at a few restaurants.
During the day I started off by walking around. I followed the path that one of the street cars takes that goes up and down one of the large hills that is famous in San Francisco.
It was fun and a good hike walking up the angles street.
During the walk there were some excellent views of the city.
The street cars went by every 10 or 15 minutes in both directions.
From there I made my way down to a park which offered views of the Golden Gate Bridge as well as Alcatraz.
The park was a nice city center one that offered some green space for people to relax in the busy city.
At that point I continued walking over to Ghirardelli Square which was the former manufacturing plant for Ghirardelli chocolate.
Today all that is left are a few shops, a soda fountain and a small display showing how chocolate was made.
It was still interesting checking out the display.
I bought a small bag of chocolate for my wife and I to enjoy during our trip.
After visiting the square, I walked back to Union Square and relaxed for a while.
At lunch time, I decided to make my way over to North Beach near Fisherman’s Wharf because there is a In N Out Burgers located there.
In N Out is one of my favorite things from the West Coast. I try to get a burger there when I am in the area.
As usual, the location was busy; however, the line moved quickly.
I ordered a Cheeseburger with Grilled Onions, Fries and a Drink.
After waiting for about 10 minutes, my order number was called and I received my meal.
The burger was excellent as usual and It was a great reward for all the walking around the city.
After having lunch, I continued to walk around before heading back to the hotel.
On one of the evenings, my wife and I went to Little Italy for dinner.
We researched online and selected the restaurant Firenze by Night which was located on Sutter Street near Columbus.
The restaurant was medium sized. The business level was medium when we arrived. We had an excellent server who helped us select some entrees.
The food was outstanding. The recommendations from online were good and we both really enjoyed our meals.
I got the fresh prepared Gnocchi and my wife got Calamari and Prawns which was served with pasta.
Both dishes were excellent and we would recommend them to others.
Overall it was a great trip to San Francisco.
