Delays made easy at Escape Lounge MSP
This post is a Delays made easy at Escape Lounge MSP. It is a review of my experience at the Escape Lounge at MSP.
This article is part of my San Francisco Foodie Adventure Trip Report.
Access
I accessed the Escape Lounge MSP thanks to my American Express Platinum card.
There is a Priority Pass lounge available at MSP, which is the PGA Club. For that lounge, you get a $15 credit for food and beverages from the menu at Ike’s.
Arrival
My arrival for the Delays made easy at Escape Lounge MSP was quick and efficient. The agent greeted my wife and I at the reception desk. After I presented my American Express card, the agent processed it, asked for my boarding pass and identification card. Once we provided the documents, she welcomed us into the lounge.
The agent provided a brief overview of the lounge while she processed our registration.
I previously reviewed the lounge when it was a Priority Pass eligible location. You can read those under the following posts:

The chilled items included several salads, dips, cheese, meat, fruit and sandwiches.
Self service sodas and water are available near the buffet.
The food items all had signs present and the food was presented attractively and looked appetizing.
A coffee and dessert station is available in the side room.
The coffee station included a touch screen espresso machine as well as cakes and cookies.
Lounge Experience
My wife and I selected a table near the window so we could watch the planes coming and going at the airport.
The bartender approached out table and welcomed us. The bartender asked what he could prepare and was friendly and polite.
We ordered drinks and the bartender provided them promptly.
The bartender checked in with us several times throughout the visit and he made us feel warmly welcomed.
The drinks were prepared fresh and they had an excellent taste.
We sampled some of the cheese and meat from the buffet as well as made a taco.
The snacks and food items were excellent.
We made conversation with the bartender throughout the visit and he made sure we had everything we needed.
Departure
When it was time to board our flight, we walked near the bar and the bartender thanked us sincerely and he invited us back in the future.
In addition, the agent at the reception desk thanked us and wished us a good flight.
The lounge was approximately 40% occupied when we departed.
Have you been to the Escape Lounge since it became an American Express lounge? What was your experience like?
