Celebration Key
Carnival is building a private beach destination on Grand Bahama Island in 2025. The beach destination was named this week as Carnival Celebration Key.
Plans for the beach destination at Grand Bahama Island are set for the beach club to open in July, 2025. Carnival will be announcing sailings from multiple East Coast ports in September, 2023.
Beach Club
The beach club will be a private beach destination for Carnival Cruise guests.
Currently some Carnival ships call on Carnival Corporation’s private islands owned by sister brands including Princess Cay and Half Moon Cay.
These private islands are some of my favorite places to visit because it generally allows for a relaxed beach day with a beach bbq and various activities available only to the guests of the ship.
Carnival will be making the experience special and is working in conjunction with the Government of The Bahamas and the Grand Bahama Port Authority to highlight the best of Grand Bahama and its culture.
Beach Love
Grand Bahama island has a beautiful stretch of beach so this should be an incredible opportunity for Carnival guests to experience a beautiful beach day.
Island Details
Carnival is building a dock that will accommodate two Mardi Gras style ships (Mardi Gras. Carnival Celebration, Carnival Jubilee) at one time so it will not require the use of tenders.
The other islands that Carnival uses both require tender rides and often have to be canceled due to the weather. Islands where a dock is available often allow for the arrival even if the water is rough.
Carnival will release more details about the beach club later this year. We can expect it to have amenities similar to the other private islands including cabanas, beach bbq, snorkeling and beach activities and excursions.

It will be exciting to learn more about the beach destination as Carnival continues to build it out.
