My family lives in Michigan so I planned a trip home to celebrate Christmas with them.

I booked this trip on Delta Airlines using cash. The price was $356. It is rather expensive for a quick one hour flight, however, there are not many options to Lansing. The $356 price was actually less expensive than the one-stop options on American or United.

You could redeem miles for the trip, however, I generally prefer to use them for longer flights or for premium cabin travel.

Holiday Travel

Do you like being at the airport during the holidays? It can sometimes be full of stress, however, when you have access to airport lounges thanks to American Express and Priority Pass, travel can be fun.

I also have a membership to CLEAR, which gets me through security very fast as I use a kiosk to confirm my identity rather than having to wait in line for the TSA Agents to check my identity.

Not to mention having Global Entry, which gives free TSA Pre-Check access for most flights.

Holiday travel can be fun when you combine these three things.
