Wireless Headphones

Wireless headphones are becoming a necessity especially now that Apple eliminated the headphone jack on the iPhone 7.

Although you can use the lightening to headphone adaptor, you lose the ability to charge your phone at the same time or risk losing sound quality.

Apple ships the iPhone 7 with a lightening to headphone jack adapter with the phone but if you use it, you lose the ability to charge the phone at the same time. There are some accessories available that allow you to charge the phone and listen to music at the same time. Headphone Options

There are currently numerous options for wireless headphones on the market but not all of them are created equal.

I currently use a wired Bose QC15 headphones when I travel. These headphones are the wired version though.

The sound quality is excellent and the noise reduction helps while I am up in the air.

Wireless Headphones

Bose recently came out with a wireless version that uses blue tooth.

Bose QuietComfort 35 Wireless HeadphonesInvalid request error occurred. are similar to the ones I currently use but are Blue Tooth wireless so they work well with the iPhone 7.

The current model sells for about $350.

Beats

Other popular wireless headphones would be Beats, which has wireless headphones available in a variety of colors and styles.

A similar option to the Bose model would be the Beats Studio Wireless Headphones.

The Beats Studio Wireless On-Ear Headphone – Matte BlackInvalid request error occurred. is available on Amazon in a certified refurbished version for $180 so it is a lot less expensive than the Bose option.

I have never used a Beats headphone but I know they are popular.

I am sure that either the Bose of the Beats option would be excellent for listening to music on the iPhone 7.

Other Options

You can also find a lot of other brands online at various price points. I’ve seen some from about $100 to as much as $2,000.

While I am not an audio expert, I have found the noise cancelling ones to be better options.

Wireless (Bluetooth) earbuds are an alternative to wireless headphones. Right now Amazon is selling a
well-reviewed Atill model for $23.99, and you can use coupon XTGLFVCS to reduce the price by $4. Free ship if you have Amazon Prime.

These earbuds have “noise cancellation”, but I’m not clear if that means active noise cancellation or merely earplug-type noise reduction.

That’s a good suggestion. I guess I have been used to my Bose Noise cancelling ones that I didn’t think about ear buds when I wrote the post. Let me know if you get them!
