Holiday Inn Express Roseville MN
Recently, I toured the new Holiday Inn Express Roseville MN.
It had been some time since I’ve been at a Holiday Inn Express so it was nice getting re-introduced to the hotel.
The tour was setup for me by Visit Roseville MN. Roseville is a great city located near Minneapolis. The city features a lot of awesome shopping, restaurants and it is near the Minnesota State Fair!
Location
The Holiday Inn Express is about 20 minutes from downtown Minneapolis.
The hotel was older; however, it recently went through a total renovation and re-branding under the Holiday Inn Express Brand.
Lobby
The lobby featured a lighted fireplace.
The fireplace was at the focal point in the room. The room featured a lot of tables and chairs where you could enjoy breakfast or have a drink in the afternoon.
A business center was also located to the side of the reception desk.
Public Areas
The hotel featured a small meeting room where groups could gather.
The tables in the room at the time were a bit basic, however, the room could be customized depending on the meeting.
A small fitness center was also available.
The fitness center offered a few machines as well as weights.
You could easily tell what floor you were on based on the large wall listing the floor near the elevator.
At the time of the visit, construction was still in process on an indoor pool as well as a larger fitness center.
Guest Rooms
The guest rooms were clean and there were options with both one and two-beds.
The rooms also featured a small seating area.
A coffee station with refrigerator and microwave were present in all the rooms.
The rooms featured a large flat-screen television.
The hotel offered a couple of suites. The suites featured a larger sitting area with a couch.
Overall
The Holiday Inn Express Roseville is a great hotel. The staff members that I interacted with were welcoming and the hotel felt comfortable.
I loved how the lobby was setup with the public sitting areas as well as the lighted fireplace.
I hope to get to stay at the hotel in the near future.
