AwardWallet tracks Miles and Points

Tracking miles and points is often a tedious task, however, AwardWallet makes it easy because it keeps all your accounts together in one simple spot.

What is it?

AwardWallet is a tool that aggregates all your frequent traveler programs together and it keeps track of your account numbers, balances and when miles and points expire.

I personally have frequent traveler accounts with various airlines, hotel chains, rental car companies and other travel related entities. Although I have my main programs that I prefer, it doesn’t always make sense to use them if there is a great price difference.

The trouble I find is that once I find a good price, it often takes me a long time to find my login for the various programs, which makes the booking process a lot slower. The time constraints often prevent me from finding the lowest priced option.

With AwardWallet, I don’t have to worry about that.

Setup Process

Whenever I join a new award program, I search for it on AwardWallet and set up the account.

The setup process is quick and often just requires your username and password and the system does the rest of the work for you. I was able to setup the majority of my frequent traveler accounts in about 10-15 minutes when I did them at one time.

AwardWallet monitors all your programs for changes to your balances or status levels. Some cases, it does it automatically, while a few others, you have to periodically click on a button where it will automatically open a new browser window and it goes through a number of steps to check your information with the provider. They also have the option of forwarding your award statement via email and the system does the rest of the work.

It is a pretty cool process watching the system go through the various menus in an award program when it uses a script to do so.

I normally keep the account loaded on my laptop so I can monitor each balance.

Without AwardWallet, keeping track of all of the miles and points for me and my family would be an enormous task. Now, I simply log in and see everything in one place (except Southwest, that is). Such a valuable tool for the serious traveler!!!
