This post covers our visit to the Hawaiian Airlines Plumeria Lounge Honolulu.
Access
My wife and I accessed the Plumeria Lounge using our Priority Pass membership that we receive from our Citi Prestige Card.
Get your own Priority Pass membership and enjoy the comforts of a great lounge while saving 10%.
Location
The Plumeria Lounge is a bit difficult to find as it is hidden on the third floor of the airport in the inter-island terminal.
The international airline lounges are located in the main terminal and there are many of options depending on what carrier you are traveling on. You are also able to access another lounge via Priority Pass in the international terminal.
To access the lounge, you walk to the middle of the inter-island terminal near the newsstand and take the stairway across up to the third floor.
Check-In
We entered the lounge an agent welcomed us and he processed our registration. The agent asked me to sign the Priority Pass terminal and he offered a receipt. After I declined, he thanked us and welcomed us into the lounge.
Lounge Setup
The lounge consists of one room with a variety of tables and chairs setup. The lounge was setup in the shape of a square.
The lounge was decorated simply and it had a relaxing feel.
On one side of the lounge was the snack and beverage area.
Snack Options
The lounge offered light sandwiches, noodles, chips, cookies and candy.
The beverage options consisted of Maui Beer, wine, coffee, juice and sodas.
We sampled the Maui beer and found it to be excellent. The option available was called Bikini Blonde Ale.
Lounge Experience
We relaxed in the lounge for about 30 minutes prior to our flight.
WiFi was available. The temperature was comfortable and the lounge was quiet.
There were only two other guests in the lounge at the time of our visit so it felt exclusive.
Departure
When we were ready to depart, the lounge the agent at the reception desk thanked us and wished us a pleasant flight.
Summery
Our visit to the Hawaiian Airlines Plumeria Lounge was relaxing and fun. Because there was only one other couple present during the visit made the lounge feel private and exclusive. The staff was friendly and polite and we felt welcomed.
