A quick bite at PGA Lounge MSP
This post is A quick bite at PGA Lounge MSP. It is an overview of a quick visit to the PGA Lounge MSP where my wife and I got a sandwich and relaxed for a few minutes before our flight to San Francisco.

Access
The PGA Lounge MSP is a Priority Pass partner lounge. The lounge offers a $15 food and beverage credit per Priority Pass guest. So in the case of my wife and my visit, we had $30 to use.
In addition to the food and beverages, you can use the credit to play in one of the golf simulators in the lounge.

Location
The PGA Lounge MSP is in the mall area above Ike’s restaurant at Minneapolis St. Paul Airport. The lounge is accessible by staircase next to the Ike’s or via the elevator within Ike’s bar area.
I previously reviewed the lounge on my Singapore Mileage Run Trip when I spent a few minutes in the golf lounge area.
Arrival
My wife and I arrived at the PGA Lounge MSP and were greeted at the golf shop desk, which serves as the check in desk for the lounge.
The agent scanned my Priority Pass card but did not require a boarding pass or identification card. The agent asked if we visited the lounge in the past. We said yes and he welcomed us back.
The agent provided two receipts which each offered $15 of food and beverage credit.
I asked if we could use the bar area in the Champion’s Grill and he said yes. The agent welcomed us and wished us a good visit.
The Champion’s Grill area was approximately 20% occupied upon our arrival.
Setup
The lounge has two distinct areas. The first is the main lounge which is gold themed and has practice golf putting greens and golf simulators available.
There is limited seating in this area but it offers several chairs near the window.
A small bar setup is available in the lounge.
A larger area is located to the side of the reception desk and pro shop.
This area is the Champion’s Grill for Ike’s and it offers a variety of tables and chairs around the bar as well as bar seating.
The bar area has several television screens tuned to sports programming and additional golf related pictures and artwork.
Lounge Experience
My wife and I took a seat at one of the tables near the bar in the Champion’s Grill Area on the Quick bite at the PGA Lounge MSP location.
The tables and chairs were setup neatly and the area was clean.
About four minutes after we arrived, a server approached our table and welcomed us. The server presented menu’s and said he would be back shortly to take our order.
The menu featured burgers, sandwiches, appetizers and desserts as well as a full bar menu.
After a few minutes the server returned to take our order. We requested to share the Rubin Sandwich and my wife ordered a cocktail. The server asked if we wanted anything else. When we declined he thanked us and he said he would be back shortly.
The server presented our beverages three minutes later and he said the food would be served shortly.
My wives cocktail was served strong in a large glass. The drink had a good taste.
About 10 minutes after ordering, the server returned and he presented the sandwich along with two small plates for sharing. The server asked us to enjoy.
The sandwich was large and it was served with fries, pickle and coleslaw.
The Ruben sandwich was served hot. The Ruben was fresh and the cheese was melted well over it and it had an good flavor. The sandwich was on the salty side so I was glad to have water to accompany it.
The fries were also served hot and they were fresh and had a good taste. The pickle was crispy and fresh.
After a few minutes, the server checked back with us and offered an additional drink. We declined and we requested the check at that time.
The server inquired about the sandwich. We said it was good and he thanked us.
The server presented the check a minute or two later.
The check was accurate. We provided the Priority Pass vouchers. The total was $28 and we left a $5 tip for the server. The server thanked us when he picked it up and he wished us a good day.
My wife and I finished the sandwich before preparing to depart the lounge.
The temperature was warm during our visit and it was slightly uncomfortable because of it.
Departure
When my wife and I were ready to depart the lounge, the server picked up the used dishes from the table and he thanked us for coming to the lounge.
We walked by the reception desk and the agents also thanked us and wished us a good evening.
The lounge area was approximately 25% full when we departed.
Overall
Our Quick bite at PGA Lounge MSP was good. The server was polite and the food was good overall. It is a nice option to get to enjoy a plated meal using Priority Pass. What do you think about the lounge?
