The offer has shown up for me on searches even when I select special rate codes.
The good thing about the promotion I have noted is that it does not require pre-payment and you can cancel the reservation up to a day or two in advance.
This is good because most hotel promotions are rates that can not be changed or cancelled.
On some searches I noted the rate was lower then those for AAA or some corporate codes.
It is always good to check various rate options before making a reservation though as you may find a better rate outside the promotion.
