Hampton Inn Newport Middleton Stay

Hampton Inn Newport Middleton Stay Booking
I booked the Hampton Inn Newport Middleton using 23,000 Hilton Points.
While it doesn’t always make sense to redeem for a Hampton property due to the redemption value, it can from time to time make sense when you need to save cash to use it for other things during the trip.
The regular nightly rates at the hotel are around $120.
I used points for this trip so that I could cover a rental car and food and other expenses during the road trip.

Location
The Hampton Inn Newport Middleton is located just outside Newport in the suburb Middleton.
The hotel is located on the main road around several other hotels.
It is within walking distance of several restaurants.
The hotel was built within the past few years and it has a nice modern feel.

Arrival
My wife and I arrived for our Hampton Inn Newport Middleton Stay around 2:30 PM on Sunday.
When we arrived, there were two team members present at the front desk and zero other guests were waiting.
The agent greeted us as we arrived, and he welcomed us to the hotel.
After I requested to check in, the agent processed the registration promptly. The agent asked me to verify my address to confirm my identity and he confirmed I was using points for the stay.
He thanked me for my Diamond status and he informed us that we were given an upgraded room. The colleague offered water bottles and 250 points as the amenity.
The guest service agent went over the hotel amenities including breakfast, fitness center, laundry rooms and he said that we can feel free to let him know if we need anything during the stay.
The registration was complete within a couple minutes.
Room
My wife and I were assigned room 430 for our Hampton Inn Newport Middleton Stay which was a king size bed room with a large living room area.
The entrance to the room included a vanity area with a refrigerator and microwave as well as plenty of storage space.
The living room area featured a comfortable couch and sitting area.
The room featured a king size bed with end tables on each side of the bed.
There was a TV between the bedroom and living room area.
A desk was present as well.
The bed was comfortable, and the linens were clean.
The bathroom featured a vanity in the entry way with a small room containing a toilet and shower.
The toilet was small in order to accommodate the door to the room.
The shower was clean, and the water temperature and pressure functioned well.
The linens were clean and soft.
We found the room comfortable and got a good night’s sleep.
Lobby
The lobby at the Hampton Inn Newport Middleton was clean, and it was in good condition. The lobby serves as the eating area for breakfast each morning.
The tables and chairs were setup neatly.
The front desk was maintained neatly.
A small store was located to the side of the desk for food and drink items.
The exterior area of the hotel was clean.
Breakfast
We had breakfast in the lobby in the morning.
Upon arrival, two of the team members greeted us and welcomed us and wished us a good morning.
The breakfast offering that morning included eggs, hash browns, ham and oatmeal as the hot foods.
There was a made to order waffle bar where you could prepare a waffle and top them with a variety of items.
Fresh pastries, bread, fruit and cereal was also available.
A coffee station was present with three different coffee options as well as hot water.
Juice was available as well.
The food was setup neatly and attendants were noted to maintain the stations and keep the area clean.
I made a bowl of oatmeal and fruit and enjoyed a coffee for me breakfast.
The oatmeal had a food taste and I added dried fruit and nuts which enhanced the flavor.
The fruit included pineapple, oranges and grapefruit. The fruit was fresh, and it had a good taste.
The coffee was bold in flavor and it was served hot.
Departure
When my wife and I were ready to depart the hotel, we approached the front desk to check out.
An agent greeted us when we arrived and offered assistance.
After I requested to check out, the agent processed the check-out promptly and he offered a copy of the folio.
The agent thanked us for staying at the hotel and he invited us to return in the future.
Overall
We enjoyed our Hampton Inn Newport Middleton Stay. It was a nice surprise to receive the upgraded room. We enjoyed sitting in the living room to watch television. The room was comfortable and quiet, and it was a good experience overall. The breakfast was good and the team members that we encountered were friendly and polite.
